Carson City - State Capitol & Museum Tour

Join NWHP for an outing to Carson City and a visit to the Nevada State Capitol building, where we'll visit the statue of Sarah Winnemucca, and then to the Nevada State Museum where we'll get to see one of the original coin presses from the old Carson City Mint in action.  You'll even have a chance to purchase a commemorative coin!  

Please allow time to arrive and park.  We'll meet on the steps of the Capitol building at 10:15am.  There is no admission fee for the Capitol. 

Parking note:  There is a large parking lot just to the north of the Capitol grounds on E.  Musser Street that is usually empty on Saturdays, free of charge and convenient to the Capitol.

Admission Fee note:  The Nevada State Museum requires a $10 admission fee for non-museum members that is not included in your registration fee.  

A no-host lunch for anyone interested will be available after the tour.
